Join the DOS, or just silly ipod touch 2.0 upgrade?

No idea what happened exactly, I am still trying to test out various suggested solutions.

It is said the Apple invited DOS attack from its beloved users by opening the ipod touch/iphone 2.0 app store last Friday (7/11). I shouldn’t jump in this too early. Days ago, guys around have already experienced the Firefox 3 download craziness. It’s weird if it’s also the problem this time for Apple. It’s just hard for me to believe that the lesson is so hard to learn.

See this post ” An unknown error occurred (6) ” on Apple forum: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1598985&tstart=30

Apple has documented how to deal with this, but apparently doesn’t work in this case, at least not for me:

Maybe I have to wait… to have the 2.0 version and any free app

    有免费无线就行,当然也不是什么地方都有。

    现在iPod Touch还有很多免费的软件载,比如NYTimes有一个Offline Reader,可以下载整天报纸的内容。可见这里的夸奖:
the New York Times application shines, and is a benchmark for excellence in mobile computing. Unbelievably, it’s free — a major benefit, considering the daily newspaper costs north of $800 dollars per year to buy off the newsstand.
