1st Time: Failed
Problem: Bump not properly mounted (as shown

Solution: Screw the bump to the car body
Expense: $0
Mechanic: David (Gino’s Auto Body Shop）

Reinspection: Passed

As you see, that’s why I am recommending Gino’s Auto Body Shop. Actually, the Gino’s is pretty popular here and folks told me usually it would take a month to wait after the appointment. So I just went there for an estimate of costs (fortunately, you don’t have to wait just for estimate) and I wanted to decide whether to keep our old Taurus any longer, have it fixed or buy another one. After the nice mechanic took a look at it and made sure all I wanted was to pass the inspection, he just let me wait for a few minutes and had the bump screwed. I wanted to show some appreciation then, but he simply said to me that, ‘it is free and just come to us if you have other problems’. So I would like to advertise the body shop here and in the last post I showed their right position in the map.

Now, let me say something about our car. This is the 2nd time for it to pass the bi-annual auto inspection. Last time, it failed the 1st time too with a little brake problem. But otherwise, I think it was a good car back then. Now, my ford Taurus is aging: first, I am now becoming unease to be the first one at the red-light line even with a V-6 3.2L engine, as my car doesn’t speed up as quickly as it used to be; second, for some reason, the coolant is also easily gone and I have to refill it more frequently; third, it produces much louder noise now. But I don’t want to buy another car now and have to go to the inspection and I need it to pass. Interestingly, eexcept the bump, other problems didn’t catch inspectors’ attention. Anyway, the life of our Taurus now will be stretched for another 2 years. I hope by then, there will be some nice cars in the market alternative to those jp cars.
