3.20 在学校更新I-20
3.22 拿到新I-20，签字后由学校寄出
3.29 从银行帐户得知支票被cash，看不清背面的receipt NO. (1)
4月第一周的某天收到receipt，开始可以天天查uscis（得知3.26收到申请，27发出receipt) (2)
并注册email notify service

4.18 还没例行查uscis status前，收到email notice:
The last processing action taken on your case
Receipt Number: EAC…..
Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Current Status: Approval notice sent.

不过上面的last action不知道具体有何含义，因为接下去又接连收到email：

注：
(1) 据说支票背后会有receipt number，在CA发的以WAC开头，在VT发的以EAC开头，我的怎么也看不清
(2) 收到receipt后，可以去 https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp 查OPT处理进程 (H1B其实也是这儿查)
(3) 另注，仿佛每个人最后收到的email notice的顺序不尽相同或者并没有收全，但应该只要有其中一项就是成功批准了。

我曾经两次深度调研过J1。通常所知的是交流访问学者的J1，可历时三年，新规定能延长至5年。我觉得这其实也不错。但这项基本只由学校、研究组织提供。新闻媒体的确也能提供J1，但却属于有特长者，只能历时一年。然后J1之后只能回国，除非申请国家的waiver。逻辑上再接着的紧扣环就是，必须使用J1一年后，才能向国家申请waiver。于是，在我看来，NYT的J1对我就是没用。

拿了Offer之后，心里很是高兴，可是这两天就完全又处在担心之中，不知道能不能顺利的拿到工作签证。
